USERRA Eligibility (continued)

Your cumulative military service since starting your civilian job must not exceed five years.  There are exceptions to the five-year limit.  For example, normal drills and annual training do not count against the limit, and duty performed under the authority being used for Operation Noble Eagle/Enduring Freedom does not count toward the five-year limit.
