With the resignation of ASVET Fred Juarbe, President Bush announced his decision to nominate Charles "Chick" Ciccolella for that position.

Ciccolella currently serves as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Veterans Employment and Training (DASVET) at the Department of Labor. He previously served in the United States Senate Rules Committee as Director of Information Technology Policy. Prior to his service in the Senate, Ciccolella served for twenty-eight years in the United States Army. He earned his bachelor's degree from Auburn University and his master's degree from Central Michigan University.

As we wish ASVET Juarbe well, we also extend our best wishes to "Chick" in his confirmation process and eventually in starting his tenure leading this important department.
