NVTI's first participants found NVTI training content and the exchange of information and ideas to be invaluable. They said the benefits of this communication should be continually nourished and built upon to strengthen the quality of the nation's employment services for veterans. This led to the establishment of NVTI's Resource & Technical Assistance Center (RTAC) in 1987. The word went out to the national job service community and they sent the Center their best veterans' program materials.

Today, NVTI maintains the most helpful resources* and links in the Resource Library and on the Web Links pages.
